A company is looking for a Senior Landfill Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing landfill gas collection and treatment systems, extraction well installations, and health risk evaluations
Managing regulatory compliance for solid waste clients
Reviewing and certifying Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasures (SPCC) plans
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5-8 years of experience in the landfill/solid waste industry
California Professional Engineer (PE) license required
Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, environmental science, or related field
Knowledge of current environmental and city/state development regulations
Master’s degree preferred but not required
