I recently bought airplane tickets searching on skyscanner and thought I got good deals until I saw the banking fees for it being 2.75%.
Got nasty suprise of R500. I am not even sent an invoice for these fees.

The banks change their fees so often and much it is hard to track international costs and the banking fees pages per bank can be so convoluted I often can’t differentiate between fixed fee and percentage.
