Toyota’s fully-electric Hilux has worse range than South Africa’s cheapest EV
Toyota officially unveiled its much-anticipated ninth-generation Hilux bakkie on Monday, which includes its first fully electric model.
The Japanese carmaker stated the introduction of battery electric power in its Hilux was a “breakthrough innovation,” achieved without compromising the model’s “renowned quality, durability, and reliability”.
