One Black Friday spender splurged half-a-million rand before noon
Discovery Bank’s Black Friday SpendTrend dashboard shows that one of its customers spent R500,000 in a single card transaction on Black Friday, 28 November 2025.
The bank launched its dashboard on Friday morning. Before 08:00, one customer had already spent R99,036 in a single card transaction.
