Ramaphosa’s bullet trains are coming
President Cyril Ramaphosa doubled down on his promise for bullet trains in South Africa while presenting the 2026 State of the Nation Address.
He said high-speed rail (HSR) corridors will usher in a new era of long-distance rail travel in South Africa, adding that 30 companies have expressed interest in participating.
