Bad news for home and business owners who pay for electricity in South Africa’s richest city
City Power says households and businesses are responsible for the service cables connecting their premises to the power utility’s infrastructure.
Speaking to Newzroom Afrika, City Power spokesperson Isaac Mangena said consumers must foot the bill if these service cables are damaged or stolen.
