Boy who murdered 15-year-old Harvey Willgoose in school knife attack named by judge for first time

Judge Mrs Justice Ellenbogen has lifted the automatic anonymity order for Harvey Willgoose’s killer.

The 15-year-old, who was born and raised in the UK, can now be identified as Mohammed ‘Umar’ Khan.

Due to the teenager’s age, he had been given automatic anonymity in criminal court proceedings until the age of 18.
