One of South Africa’s biggest cities investing over R200 million into solar
The City of Cape Town recently announced significant investments in renewable energy initiatives throughout the metro, including R183 million for its solar feed-in programme.
This follows the city’s energy directorate announcing a total budget of R71.2 billion for the next three years, which will be made possible by the new electricity tariffs.
