Eskom threatens to cut off people with solar panels in South Africa
Contrary to Eskom’s claims, South Africa’s electricity regulations do not require residential customers to register their rooftop solar power systems with their distribution utility.
That is the view of veteran energy analyst and EE Business Intelligence managing director Chris Yelland, who has criticised Eskom over its threats to cut off such customers unless they register.
