New HTML Editor In cPanel & WHM version 126, we added a new HTML Editor to cPanel’s File Manager interface (cPanel » Home » Files » File Manager). This modern, feature-rich editor provides users with an improved editing experience, better performance, and more formatting options. Note: This editor replaces the previous HTML editor and uses <a href=”https://xdsoft.net/jodit/” target=”_blank”>Jodit functionality. Experimental: This interface is experimental and is not fully functional. We plan to provide a full version in a future release. Automatically enabled Interface Analytics In cPanel & WHM version 126, we fully removed personal, private, and security information from every step of analytics gathering. We automatically install and enable the Interface Analytics plugin and disable the Interface Analytics options in the cPanel, WHM, and Webmail interfaces unless we cannot retrieve a user’s analytics configuration. Added MySQL 8.4 In cPanel & WHM version 126, we added support for MySQL® 8.4 on servers that run AlmaLinux OS 8, CloudLinux™ 8, RockyLinux™ 8, and Ubuntu® 22. For information about supported versions of MySQL, read our Supported MySQL/MariaDB Versions documentation. Removed support for Apple iOS push notifications In cPanel & WHM version 126, we removed support for Apple® iOS® push notifications. We removed the iOS Push Notifications tab from WHM’s Manage Service SSL Certificates interface (WHM » Service Configuration » Manage Service SSL Certificates) and the APNSPush service from WHM’s Service Manager interface (WHM » Service Configuration » Service Manager). For more information, read our cPanel Deprecation Plan documentation. Removed Python 2 In cPanel & WHM version 126, we removed support for Python 2, which has reached its EOL (End of Life). As part of this removal, we updated the Mailman application to use Python 3 instead of Python 2. For more information, read our cPanel Deprecation Plan documentation. Added Server Monitoring to the Feature Showcase Note: WebPros International, LLC currently provides this feature in a limited release, with plans to expand its availability in future updates. Server Monitoring (Powered by 360 Monitoring) now appears in the Feature Showcase interface. Removed Account Type selection In cPanel & WHM version 126, we removed the option to select Account Type in the Consent and Privacy section of cPanel’s Account Preferences interface (cPanel » Home » Preferences » Account Preferences). Modified WHM API 1 functions * <a href=”https://api.docs.cpanel.net/openapi/whm/operation/install_service_ssl_certificate/” target=”_blank”>install_service_ssl_certificate — Removed the mail_apns service. * <a href=”https://api.docs.cpanel.net/openapi/whm/operation/reset_service_ssl_certificate” target=”_blank”>reset_service_ssl_certificate — Removed the mail_apns service.
