E-tv launches legal action to block analogue switch-off
E-tv has launched an urgent application in the Pretoria High Court to block the Department of Communications and Digital Technologies from switching off South Africa’s analogue television signals on 31 March 2025.
The founding affidavit is 327 pages long, with a supporting affidavit from Media Monitoring Africa’s William Bird weighing in at another 73 pages.
