Former Makate backer says Please Call Me was not his invention
Errol Elsdon, who financially backed Nkosana Kenneth Makate’s legal case against Vodacom between 2011 and 2014, says he originated the idea that became Please Call Me, but did not invent it.
Elsdon first acknowledged the distinction in a May 2016 interview with Bruce Whitfield on CNBC Africa’s The Moneymakers programme, shortly after the Constitutional Court first ruled in Makate’s favour.
