National Consumer Commission keeping an eye on Temu
The National Consumer Commission is monitoring Temu’s launch of local warehouse support in South Africa and its impact on the domestic retail sector.
Minister of Trade, Industry, and Competition, Parks Tau, put Temu on notice earlier this year, stating that its operations in South Africa must comply with all relevant local legislation.
