Since we lost Starlink, I’m forced to use MTN based mobile data here on our farm. We run 2 external routers, topping up data as we need.
I thought I’d give Openweb’s MTN mobile data service a try. Signed up for their month to month uncapped (1TB) full speed service. The most I can get here is 30Mbps, for the record.
Got my SIM on the 17 Jan, worked at 30Mbps! Yippee. For all of 6 hrs, then speed dropped to 20Mbps. Tech support promised to sort it, but the line stayed 20Mbps. Then 10, then…
