Dirty TV Licence tricks in South Africa
The SABC’s debt collectors are sending SMS messages to people whose TV Licences are in arrears, offering “deals” with ambiguous language and issuing threats about “trace alerts” being placed on them.
This is not the first time the SABC’s debt collectors have used these tactics to try and collect outstanding TV Licence payments on behalf of the broadcaster.
