Ster-Kinekor closing cinemas in major Cape Town mall
South Africa’s biggest cinema chain, Ster-Kinekor, has announced it will close its movie theatres at the Cavendish Square mall in Claremont, Cape Town, next month.
The company revealed the closure in a statement on Monday, explaining the site’s lease was not renewed and its last day of trading would be 2 June 2025.
