The duo that drove Eskom to drop its expensive solar power registration rule
Organisation Undoing Tax Abuse (Outa) CEO Wayne Duvenage and EE Business Intelligence managing director Chris Yelland deserve credit for pushing Eskom to ease its solar power registration rules.
Eskom dropped the requirement that engineers or engineering technologists registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (Ecsa) sign off on all rooftop solar power systems in October 2025.
