SABC says changes to Afrikaans content did not impact advertising revenue
The SABC says it is inaccurate to make broad assumptions that significant changes to its Afrikaans content over the past two years have negatively impacted its advertising revenue.
However, it has refused to share any revenue information for its Afrikaans channels and programming that would disprove it had lost “millions” because of the moves, as suggested in some reports.
