I just want to know what period of time is considered reasonable/acceptable for a home (building + content) insurance lightning damage claim to to be finalised for approval?
The first issue is that they sent a bunch of idiot assessors, got a crappy report from them, and then appointed a new assessor. Now they’re telling me that it’s going to delay the claim approval process by 4 days (48hrs for assessor to submit new report + 48 hrs for insurer to process the claim).
