My nephew is starting grade 6 this year, and his school requires all students have a laptop, and the minimum specs are:
8 GB RAM
Intel i3, AMD Ryzen 3 or better
Windows 11
I want to get him something with 16GB RAM, but I’m quite out of the loop on which intel vs amd processor is better these days.
I’m looking on carbonite, and I see plenty of laptops in our budget range. He doesn’t need crazy performance – so I’d rather look at something with decent(ish) battery life and as slim as is…
