With the established brands like Oral-B/J&J Reach etc getting near R100 for a 50m roll I’ve tried a few other makes like the R50 house brand floss at Dischem and Clicks and a few other European brands I’ve never heard of and they are all pretty much garbage and the main issue no matter if they are thick or thin is the floss gets jammed on your teeth, there seems to be some dark art in the making of the wax lubricant they use which generally seems to be based on food grade paraffin wax.
