Electric car tax warning in South Africa
Electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure company Charge (also called Zero Carbon Charge) has joined several others in appealing to the South African government to urgently reduce import taxes on electric cars.
Charge has sent a formal letter to the Minister of Trade, Industry, and Competition, Parks Tau, warning that failure to act on this issue could have dire consequences for the country.
