Heads could roll over R54-billion Eskom error
The National Energy Regulator of South Africa (Nersa) says a forensic investigation into its R54-billion error in Eskom’s electricity tariff application has revealed a breakdown of controls at the regulator.
Speaking before the Portfolio Committee on Electricity and Energy, Nersa chair Thembani Bukula said the watchdog would forward a report detailing the investigation’s findings.
