Telkom wants to roll out free Wi-Fi
Telkom wants to roll out free Wi-Fi hotspots at South African community centres, rather than outdated licence conditions that obligate it to provide services such as public pay phones and directory services.
The network operator asked the Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (Icasa) to amend its licence conditions to reflect this.
